I am happy to write a reference for Tyler McCaffery and Jeff Schauf. They started on our backyard pool in mid-April and we were more than satisfied with their impeccable work and customer satisfaction.
All through this project, we felt very satisfied that things were getting done in a timely manner and their work was perfect. If there were any questions on our part, it was taken care of right away. They had a great crew and communication was always open.
There really isn’t anything they can’t do! We ended up going with them for our brand new, (large) fence, and new sod in our front yard and backyard. Jeff had a great idea for the stone around our spa and this turned out absolutely beautiful.
I would highly recommend Jeff and Tyler and we will definitely call them if we have any more projects to be done. We are convinced there is not much they can’t do!

Outstanding Work
What a great bunch of guys and company to do business with. Our high hopes were to buy waterfront recreational property, but the price of real estate these days are ridiculous. So we figured why not bring the water to the house and build a pool.
We reached out to numerous pool building companies. After talking to Amcon, they came out to the house and discussed different types, sizes, shapes, etc. of pools and went over the process of what the build will entail.
Tyler and Jeff went over each phase, how long they would take, the different options, colors, landscape, plumbing, water features patio etc. and cost. All of these items were discussed in detail the first few days, prior to signing a contract. We had a good understanding and actually changed a few things after hearing their thoughts and suggestions.
Amcon was very professional with good communication and does outstanding work. We are very happy with the pool and decision to have Amcon build it.

Jeff & Tyler were the best team for this project. We had an old 70’s era pool last painted over 20 years ago and with a painted concrete deck. We talked to several other pool contractors but Jeff was “The Man” walking us through the steps, laying out the overall plan & schedule and throwing out some great alternative ideas that weren’t just cool but also cost effective.
Then Tyler came in with the team to put Jeff’s plan in place. Did it all go perfectly? NO. But Tyler worked with us through all of the challenges, offered great suggestions, and was always keeping us apprised of schedule and budget impacts. How they addressed the changes and communicated throughout the entire process is what really sets them apart from others and made the biggest impact for us.
In the end, the project turned out incredible. While we were originally just wanting a refinished pool, we ended up with a new pool, pool deck and plumbing system. We’re looking forward to jumping back in this summer. Jeff, Tyler and the entire Amcon team were phenomenal to work with. Knowledgeable, highly skilled, communicative, trustworthy and high integrity. We would definitely recommend them to anyone considering a pool project.
